The Schweizerhof is a charming, family-run guesthouse with a long tradition — first mentioned in 1864 under the address “Altmünster No. 62.” Today, it combines historical charm with contemporary elegance. Located directly on the western shore of Lake Traunsee, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, the impressive Traunstein mountain, and, on clear days, even the Dachstein range.

The lovingly furnished rooms, the well-kept house, and the direct access to the public bathing area with two spacious piers make the Schweizerhof a special place — for connoisseurs, hikers, those seeking peace, and lovers of culture.

Our restaurant is currently being renovated, and we look forward to welcoming you again with culinary delights from autumn 2026.
